Christmas has come and gone.  Now it’s time to prepare for New Year’s Eve.  What did you decide to do?  Where did you decide to go?  Will you be at church or at the celebration of the decade?

But when the party’s over and the countdown has placed you in 2011, what do you have planned?

Have you taken the time to think of your goals or things you’d like to accomplish?  If you have, be sure to follow the steps necessary to help you get there.  Stay focused and keep your eye on the prize.

If you haven’t, what are you waiting for?   Some people like to learn something new each year.  Others decide to lose weight.  Whatever it is, stick to it – even when the road gets rough.

Trust me, the payoff will be great!

Much success to you in 2011 and many years to come.

I’m so excited to hear that the Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Conservatory is reopening this Thursday 11/18/2010!

Incase you’re wondering why – it’s because it’s one of my favorite places to go during the holiday season.  I love to see the Christmas lights from Briley Parkway each time I go from one side of town to the other.

I especially enjoy walking through the conservatory looking at all of the amazing sights and scenery.  Waterfalls, Christmas Trees, Christmas Lights, Nativity Scenes.  The manger scene is amazing and is set up to read the story of how the wise men found baby Jesus.

Last year I took my brother, his wife, and my nephew.  They loved it!

Based on the pictures, it’s going to be more grand than ever.  I may attend the lighting ceremony – if time permits.  If not, I’ll just stroll through at my leisure at various intervals throughout the holiday season.  Maybe I’ll see you there 🙂
